Our Humble Beginnings
In 2021, Mr. Eliodoro G. Maciba planted the seeds of a dream – DonCris Cacao, a humble cacao farm nestled in the heart of Barangay Binakalan, Gingoog City. With a passion for helping farmers and producing high-quality export beans, Mr. Eliodoro, along with his daughter, set out to make the best cocoa liquor and tablea, creating a foundation for a legacy that would last beyond his lifetime.
Regrettably, within the same year, Mr. Eliodoro departed this world, leaving his daughter, Christina, to carry the torch. Inspired by her father’s vision and determined to honor his memory, Christina started a journey to turn DonCris Cacao into more than just a farm – transforming it into a sanctuary for the creation of artisanal, handcrafted chocolates.
